Managing and creating content since 2016 (which is 5+ years, even though it doesn’t feel like it).
I am looking for a job in content marketing (writing, planning, managing).
Great content is a wonderful thing: it attracts people, captures their attention, guides their actions. A simple one-liner can make a person smile, and click your link, and get your app. This is where I want to practice my skills: write myself or guide other people in their writings, and work with others to create images, audios and videos that pave a way for a sale.
You can find the info on my job experience, articles, and education below.
At Apalon I worked on three different apps (Sleepzy, SnapCalc, and Window). Together with product managers and designers, we produced every type of content, from cute Instagram-like stories to math quizzes.
I researched and aggregated articles, scripted visual content, selected and edited images, and yes, gathered hundreds of math problems for quizzes. I didn’t stay long because, it turned out, I genuinely hate math.
At BelPrime we created Awario ― a social listening tool. I joined the project at its very start and was the sole writer for Awario’s blog for a long time.
I also wrote landing pages, product descriptions, social media posts and emails. And in addition to all that, I wrote many, many guest posts for external sources. As time went by I got more involved in content analytics, content planning, and working with guest writers.
Our blog grew from zero to 60,000 unique monthly visitors in five years and was the most successful source of signups and purchases.
I can do things with words you never thought were possible. And yes, selling is one of them.
I am good at structuring information and explaining complicated and/or boring things in a way that is simple, entertaining, and makes you feel good about yourself.
Creating content requires research skills and the knowledge of SEO. I have both. To come up with a content plan, I researched markets, competitors, social media posts and keywords. I also optimized articles to make them Google-friendly.
I am fluent in English, Russian, and Belarusian. I also know German at a B1 (Intermediate) level, and I am learning Polish.
